Jakišnica is a small resort village settled around the bay of the same name and is located on the northern part of Island
Pag. The aim of the pages of this Jakisnica.info site is to introduce this place away from the main road and from the main
directions of the crowds on vacation.
Jakišnica offers several beaches to its guests, starting right on the southern side of Jakišnica Bay with the rocky
coastline broken by gravel beach sections. Similar gravel entrances to sea are found at the Hotel Luna Beach, however,
instead of concrete the seaside promenade is covered with stone here. The hotel beach also has sea kayak, paddle boat rentals
and a small diving center. A couple of hundred meters north of the village two bays, accessible by foot, provide even
more choices to swim and relax. The beach in Slatina Bay has a longer gravel part, while Krcalo Bay is mainly rocky
with short gravel parts - and absolute tranquility.
The village has a small grocery store (closed at siesta time) and there are a couple of restaurants and bars, too (Sidro,
Mali). For bigger shopping needs one would go to Novalja (12 km).
